About Brandon
Brandon J. Alleman, owner and operator of Innate Movement & Wellness, has an unrivaled passion for the human Body and respects the body’s innate ability to heal. His practice has been dedicated to the permanent resolution of chronic pain since 2002.

Brandon concentrates on the evaluation and design of corrective and rehabilitative programs. Each individual is evaluated based on Higher Order Reflex and Cranial Nerve function while listening to the tissue(s) in order to identify the etiology (source) of pain and dysfunction. Once the source of pain is accurately identified, a corrective strategy comprising Osteopathic Manual Practice along with a customized movement re-education program can be implemented to restore structure and function to the human Body.

The heart of Brandon's philosophy is…
Listen to the tissue– it knows best
Brandon has achieved accreditation, certification, and graduation in numerous disciplines related to the human body-mind.

Specializing in Chronic Pain Resolution
“A student of Life must take in each part of the body and study its uses and relations to other parts and systems.”
– Andrew Taylor Still, D.O., founder of Osteopathy
Research shows that 85% of chronic pain cases are idiopathic, which means no pain source has been accurately identified.
Many individuals suffer with pain due to the “compartmentalized” approach utilized in today’s health care and rehabilitation system. This approach breaks the body into bits and pieces and has a specialist for virtually every part of the body.
Most challenge cases are the result of many isolated attempts to correct an integrated array of symptoms.
As an example, someone who experiences chronic headaches may end up seeing a neurologist, “headache specialist”, dentist and/or orthodontist, orthopedist, physical therapist, massage therapist, and chiropractor. This individual may end up on this “merry-go-round” for quite some time unless a more comprehensive, integrative approach is used to identify the true cause of the headaches. This scenario can be applied just as easily to back pain, neck pain, and other chronic musculoskeletal issues.
The fact is, the human body is a system of systems and has the ability to overcome chronic pain when the barriers to optimal function and mechanics are removed. The body seeks balance and to maintain an optimal state of function.
In my experience, there are only two ways to overcome degenerative changes in the musculoskeletal system:
-
Reduce/eliminate the trauma by optimizing biomechanics and musculoskeletal efficiency with manual therapy and corrective movement/exercise.
-
Speed the rate of recovery and regeneration through optimizing nutritional and ecological lifestyle factors.
